It was spring, cold, and I was thousands of miles away from home. I sat next to a girl carrying a summer hat after a gentleman helped me pack my heavy suitcase on the shelf. After a long journey I was finally able to breathe and relax for a moment with a mind filled with uncertainty.
Still in a state of silence, my train stopped at a station. Many people passed by but there was one man who caught my attention. He sat across from me, carrying a suitcase exactly the same as my suitcase, and he was handsome. Not wanting to waste time, he opened his Macbook and started working. Tired of hearing the girl next to me who kept calling while whispering, I fell asleep.
Shortly, it feels like half an hour. I woke up and was surprised to see the scenery outside the train. I never thought I would get a very beautiful view on my first trip to stay long in a new country. My train runs along the edge of the famous Rhine river with two green hills on its side. I saw the ruins of an old castle at the top of a hill, centuries-old buildings on the other side, even the occasional old steam train passing in the cave splitting the hill. The view of the river is no less interesting, cruise ships that carry tourists look full of fun, locals also take a picnic along the river. Everything is exactly like the postcard, picture, and story I have heard. The only strange thing I experienced was my situation at that time, only I looked at the window in amazement. No one intends to glance at the window. The girl next to me was still calling and the handsome man across me still looks at his laptop. Every now and then our eyes met and he gave me a weird gaze because of my eager movements looking out the window.
I didn’t have time to take photos because of my courtesy with the girl next to me and I wanted to remember that special moment in my memory. A friend I really liked once said, when you see something very beautiful, you have to leave your camera and see it with the best camera in the world. Your eyes. Enjoy your time. It will be very special and will never be forgotten in your life.
Forty five minutes passed with an extraordinary sight. I thought, it was really lucky for the people who lived in the city around there. And yes, train information says we will stop in a city I have never heard of but maybe you have. Koblenz. Yes, my train stopped for a while in the city. In fact the handsome man across from me came down at the station. Oh, naturally, I thought, his face represented the beauty of his place of residence. I giggled to myself. After that I continued my trip while occasionally looking out the window. Not only another beautiful sight that I got, but more than that, I also got something valuable that I could never say with words. a Journey.
